《魔法屋正在等待一個故事》故事徵集計畫正式啟動
位於臺南公園內的原臺南公園管理所，歷經修復再利用後，現已成為臺南市美術館推動藝術教育與公共參與的重要場域。為開啟歷史建築與城市居民之間新的連結，臺南市美術館推出《魔法屋正在等待一個故事》故事徵集計畫，邀請民眾以文字回應空間、記憶與想像，共同為這座百年建築書寫屬於它的故事。
本計畫以原臺南公園管理所為創作起點，鼓勵參與者從臺南公園周邊環境汲取靈感，透過小說、詩歌、書信、神話、片段、場景或傳聞等多元形式進行創作，探索歷史場域與個人想像交織而成的敘事可能。
徵件主題涵蓋臺南公園兒童遊戲場、防空洞、日式庭園、動植物生態、都市傳說，以及想像中的精靈與靈體等元素，期望透過創作者多元視角的參與，累積屬於城市、居民與場域之間的共同記憶與文化敘事。
本次徵件不限年齡及國籍，歡迎所有對故事創作有興趣之民眾參與投稿。作品形式不限，可自由選擇適合之文體進行創作。中文及日文作品以2,000字為限，其他語言作品以1,200字為限。
本計畫將邀請文學、藝術及相關領域專家學者組成評審委員會進行評選，並設置以下獎項：
首獎｜新臺幣30,000元
貳獎｜新臺幣20,000元
參獎｜新臺幣10,000元
獲選作品除將獲頒獎勵外，並有機會透過出版、展示、藝術轉譯及公共展演等形式，持續於「魔法屋」空間中被閱讀、被觀看，成為場域未來發展的一部分。歡迎所有熱愛文字、關心城市文化，或對想像世界充滿興趣的創作者，共同參與這場故事徵集行動，為原臺南公園管理所開啟新的篇章。

The Magic House is Waiting for a Story｜Story Open Call
The Former Tainan Park Management Office, located within Tainan Park, has recently been restored and reactivated as an important site for art education and public engagement by Tainan Art Museum. To foster new connections between this historic building and the communities that surround it, Tainan Art Museum is launching The Magic House is Waiting for a Story, an open call inviting the public to imagine, write, and contribute stories inspired by this unique place.
Beginning with The Magic House itself, participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from the landscapes, memories, and atmospheres of Tainan Park, exploring the possibilities of storytelling through fiction, poetry, letters, myths, fragments, scenes, rumours, and other literary forms.
Suggested themes include the children’s playground, the bomb shelter, the Japanese garden, local flora and fauna, urban legends, and imagined spirits or magical beings. Through diverse voices and perspectives, the project seeks to cultivate new narratives that connect people, place, and collective memory.
The competition is open to participants of all ages and nationalities. Submissions may take any literary form. Entries written in Chinese or Japanese must not exceed 2,000 characters, while entries in all other languages are limited to 1,200 words.
A panel comprising writers, artists, and scholars will review the submissions and select the winning entries. Awards include:
1st Prize｜NTD 30,000
2nd Prize｜NTD 20,000
3rd Prize｜NTD 10,000
Selected works may subsequently be featured through publication, exhibition, artistic interpretation, and public presentation, allowing stories to remain part of The Magic House and continue to be encountered by future visitors.
We warmly invite writers, storytellers, and anyone with an interest in imagination, literature, and the cultural life of the city to participate in this open call and help shape a new chapter in the story of the Former Tainan Park Management Office.
